Hawaii is the topic for this part of our cruise holidays guide…

A wish come true is the only way a great deal of people can describe going on a Hawaiian cruise. Sailing far out into the amazing Pacific Ocean on a luxury cruise seeking an Eden like paradise that is the Hawaiian islands is something only a select few travelers experience. What an amazing locale it is as well! Golden sunsets, sun-drenched sands and palm trees swaying in the warm gentle breeze await all who take a Hawaiian cruise.

There are many ports of call all along the western coasts of North America for those hailing from Canada all the way down to North America. While many ports along the coastline have Hawaiian cruises, Seattle, San Diego, and Vancouver are the prime area’s for departure locations.

Hawaiian cruise vacations usually consist of a 15-18 day round trip, taking in Hawaii and a couple of other nearby island ports. You can also book a one-way cruise where you choose to fly back from Hawaii.

If you are looking for a longer vacation, most companies can extend the trip to 25-30 days, and perhaps even more. These extended cruises offer a great choice for people who want to have a more intense adventure once they reach Hawaii, and for people who’d like to spend more time on the neighboring islands of Lanai, Maui, Kauai and Oahu.

Aside from lazing on the pool deck and soaking up the sun on the beautiful beaches of Hawaii, a Hawaii cruise offers many shore excursions to satisfy even the most restless of vacationers. Become an explorer and walk through a lava tube on the Big Island or explore the waterfalls of Maui. If this doesn’t sound like a good time then you can always tour the skies with a helicopter or plane ride to view Hawaii’s lush landscapes from a different perspective.

On the south side of the Big Island near the port of Kona is the Kona Cloud Forest botanical walk. You can also enjoy many varied types of watersports here, as well as taking a passenger submarine down to explore the 25 acres of coral reef in the vicinity.
